Beautiful, Mythical Greece

When I was younger than I am now I would go into my local library and read nearly everything. This mostly stemmed from my need to understand what the “adults” were talking about. After all this is what we were going to grow up to be … adults that is. I would read anything but there were a few books and subjects that I always went back too. Greek mythology was one of those subjects.
I distinctly remember a large hard bound yellow book with an illustration of Zeus on the cover that I would checkout at least once a month. I’d lug the thing around the school and on the bus and read about all the Greek gods and their escapades, like a really bad sop opera
And when I found out that there really was a mount Olympus in Greece I was amazed … I never thought I’d see Greece.
Greece is beautiful and ruled by water and I’d go back every summer if I could. Travel is good for the soul. I am very grateful that I can share these pictures …

My favorite is that church by the water. Would love to see that in person. Thanks for posting these and more. Cheers from http://www.bentpage.wordpress.com.
Thank you Daniel!
