Medieval stores and designs have always fasinated me. You can tell just how desperate and hard those day were by looking at the art. Most art of the time dealt with religious aspects of life and religious stories due to the fact that the religious powers were the only ones who had money to afford art. Whatever the reasons art produced during middle ages is intricate, ornate and lush is with complex design elements. Also almost every piece of art told a story.

Art today has lost this story telling ability. We no longer require our art to mean anything. It has become as mindless as we are. Easily made, and easily thrown away. How do artist connect now with the stories around them? Will future generations look back on our art and call us mindless idiots? I don’t know the answers and goodness knows I’m guilty of these crimes …
