There Are Souls Yet To Rob

In the deep
Dark of cocaine night
I would fill your
Eyes with Love.
All the world held out,
And the poker face of fate.
Around your smile,
Showing stitches.
Hypodermic destiny
And all the chances
We’ve lost.
I’ll touch you
In the noiseless,
And staple
My heart
To my face.
Separated by
Continental shelves,
I stand
Subdivided by you.
Pass your hollowness
On,
There are souls yet
To Rob.
