Post-Katrina, Pre-Gustav But All Home

Day before landfall of Gustav, and we’ve done this before.

Everyone is tired and ready to get this over with. We’re just sitting around and waiting, and waiting. This is the part where you kind of hope for the worst just to get the worst over with. One slow minute at a time. Soon we’ll know just how destructive this hurricane has decided to be.

These are some recent pictures I took of the coast of Biloxi, Mississippi after Katrina and before this next huricane Gustav. There really is very little left to wash away.
